Did you know most cutting accidents, in the kitchen, are from using blunt, dull knives? Cutting poultry is a real challenge, but often cutting in pieces is necessary.

Freezing whole birds takes up a lot of room and long ago, when we were putting up a bunch of turkeys, I learned the simplest way to cut through poultry bones: no knife needed!

Next time you need to cut poultry bones, go grab your garden clipper. Chicken bones and small branches are about the same density and you will find your garden clipper will snap right through those bones. It is quick, effortless and safe! No more sawing and struggling!
